The title cut (a coming home story involving a soldier abroad), was written by David as a tribute for all men and woman serving our country overseas. It tells the story of a soldier called to duty, who just received word that he will be returning home. Overjoyed to be reunited with his family, he finds himself apprehensive adapting back to normal society.

With remakes by Neil Young and Bob Seger, Joseph pulls off versions of "Heart of Gold" and "Against the Wind" which rival the originals themselves. These classics reemerge with a life of vibrancy and newness unmatched since their debut release over 30 years ago.

Destined to be an all time wedding classic, “Together” in congers an enduring preeminence as heard in such wedding classics as “Celebration” and “Wind beneath my wings.” 

With songs like “Turn To Me,” “Perfect Love” and “Resting now,” Joseph injects an underlying message of Christian faith and hope which plays a significant part in his life and music. While “Cry of the Innocent” takes a bold stand for the preservation of life, a controversial topic not previously or currently addressed or embraced by today’s popular Country music artists. 

With just an acoustic guitar and harmonica, “God Bless The Fallen Heroes” is a very intimate and solon song. Joseph’s soulful voice and heart felt harmonica rendition of taps, allows this surreal tribute song to speak volumes.
